At Newbirth Ascension Centre we pride ourselves as a family church of which our vision and purpose is model around the family.
We believe that the church makes the family, and the family makes the community and the community makes the nation.
Scriptures says in Proverbs 18: 22 “He who finds a [true] wife finds a good thing and obtains favour from the Lord.”
This therefore requires that our singles make the right choices in whom they get married to so as to walk in Gods divine favour for the rest of their lives. The world is in a state of confusion relative to marriage of which it’s beginning to filter into our churches.
We at Newbirth are engaging in comprehensive teaching of God’s perfect will for marriage and His detest for divorce to avoid men and women arriving at the junction of divorce.
The scriptures also proclaims in Hebrews 13: 4(Amplified) “Let marriage be held in honour (esteemed worthy, precious, of great price, and especially dear) in all things. And thus let the marriage bed be undefiled (kept undishonuored); for God will judge and punish the unchaste [all guilty of sexual vice] and adulterous”.
Men most especially need to have an indebt understanding of adultery and its consequences on their marriage, themselves and the generation after them. This is part of the reason why this team was set up, to prevent men and women from dishonouring God (as we are His temple) and it’s consequences on them and their children.
