The wrd 4 2dy is “temptation”
The word temptation means “a desire to do something wrong or unwise”
For as long as our five senses are fully active and functional the urge or desire to do something wrong or unwise would always be here.
In one of my write-up, I mentioned that living in a sense realm makes it practically impossible to have self control but that when we engage in the spirit realm we h…ave the privilege of the Holy Sprit warning and advising us.
It however need be said that because we engage in the Spirit doesn’t mean we wouldn’t be tempted, but what would happen, is that when temptation comes our way, the Holy Spirit will definitely show the way of escape.
Scriptures makes it clear in 1Cor 10: 13, “that there is isn’t any temptation that comes your way that isn’t common to man, but that God is faithful to make a way of escape” (my emphasis).
I pray when temptations come our way, we wouldn’t be deafened to the promptings of the Holy Spirit but for every temptation the ability to overcome would always be ours IJN.

The Wrd 4 2dy is “Secret Place”
The definition of “secret” is something unknown or not seen to others.
When we join the definition to the word “place”; then secret place would look like “place unknown or Unseen to others”.
There was an advert on the bus recently that read:- “A fool says there is God”, Ironically however the scriptures in Psalm 14: 1 says The fool says in his heart that there is no… God.
Looking at these two quotes the distinguishing word is fool. The word fool means “one deficient in judgment, sense or understanding.
My take on this however, is that if one hasn’t been privy to the secret place, which is where God resides, then it’s most likely for one to insinuate there is no God, even though there are numerous evidences pointing to the fact that God exist and indeed He controls the universe. In my recent conversation with a 14year old young man who believes that there isn’t a God and that life is about chance. I however asked him a question, that if life is about chance then there is a possibility that the fresh air we breathe might just seize one day, . He disagreed to that happening and thought it would be a catastrophic situation thus somebody is definitely in-charge of that area.. So today thats how confused many who haven’t found the secret place are.
I pray we find the Secret Place and abide steadfastly under Its covering IJN.

The Wrd 4 2dy is “self-control”
Self-control is defined as impulse control or self regulation.
This is one major problem in our generation, many can’t control themselves thus they are always stumbling and falling at every little temptation (isn’t it?)that comes in their direction. Our generation is full of moral decadence, broken promises, confused societies, embezzlements and mismanagement of s…ingle and cooperate wealth etc.
Why have we become a society struggling with controlling self; it however need be said that the formation of every man is the spirit, soul and body.
If we are controlled by the spirit which is our inner witness in conformity to Godly dictates, then we won’t fulfill the loss of the flesh, however if what guides our lives is the five senses e.g. Sight, taste etc then we are bound to be out of control.
Take an example in our current climate of advertising, most adverts sells sex, also our fashion world is full of loads of exposition of the flesh at which its no longer an obscene issue. With this in place a man that is ruled by his sight will always be out of control at every proposing of sex offered even though he might already have a commitment to someone.
What about money, how many people at the opportunity to defraud or deceive for a little profiting do fall for the bait. Many’s testimonies have been shattered at the inability to control self or their impulses.
The answer to this problem is simple let God control your life and not your senses. I pray that our leader in this journey of life would be our inner witness (our spirit) in uniformed agreement with our creator. (Amen)

The Wrd 4 2dy is “Fear”
The word fear is defined: as a release of negative emotions caused by the believe that something or someone is dangerous.
This definition states that fear only exist based on what one perceives of an information released about a person or something. So ones perception of the information or the way at which the information was conveyed is the root cause of the emotion releas…ed.
I am a firm believer of the fact that what you expose yourself to consistently will after a while rule and dominate your life.
We live in a world where 85% of the news we receive on TV’s, radios, Internet etc is negative of which they are consistently been fed into people thus creating a society of paranoids. Today our kids are locked in doors for fear of one thing or the other happening to them, many women can’t jog in the woods alone for fear of abduction and murder.
Well friends I’ve got news for you, the manifestation of fear is solely the absence of faith, where there is faith fear will evaporate.
Psalm 91: 1 says he that dwells in the secret place of the most high shall abide under the shadow of the almighty; when your life is hid in Christ and God, you will develop so much faith that not even an ounce of fear released around you can impact or shake your confidence not to talk of releasing a negative emotion.
Let’s start developing an attitude to shutting down too much of negativity and opening ourselves to more fellowship with the Lord, after-all He says the plans He has for us, are plans of good & not of evil.

The Wrd 4 2dy is “Fellowship”
Fellowship is the condition of sharing similar interest, idea or a group of people meeting to pursue a shared interest.
Christians are the only people that I know that profess to have similar interest but cannot work together, or don’t we?.
We constantly see new pastors breaking away from churches to start theirs without necessarily been released, and couple of years …down the line the same thing they did is done back to them. Same apply to church folks who either being corrected or told the truth bail out at the next excuse.
This issue isn’t generic to a particular denomination, of which we could have said they have a problem, but it’s common to all.
Fellowship above is defined as people meeting to pursue a shared interest, whose interest are we supposed to pursue? Jesus or ours! If we are truly pursuing His interest then we shouldn’t be divided and bearing different names.
Mk 3: 34 says “A kingdom divided against itself cannot stand” no wonder we are not effective in witnessing for Jesus. Churches divided, homes divided, relationships divided, then how can true fellowship exist.
Have you checked yourself lately, can you relate successfully with other Christians not from your church? Why are we allowing Satan’s strategic plan of division to weaken our potentiality at taking the world for Jesus?

The Wrd 4 2dy is “Attitude”
The wrd attitude means:- A persons settled way of thinking, which is reflected in his/her behaviour or A positive or Negative evaluation of people.
Do you know the way you behave is a reflection of how you think, scriptures says “as a man thinketh in his heart so is he”; what you constantly expose yourself to after a while would have an impact on your behaviour and people’s evaluation of you. Once again the scriptures states in 1Cor 15: 33 that “be not deceived, evil communication corrupts good manners”. Your set up, your friends, the people you hang out with after a while would impact your analysis of life and your reaction to it.
Friends have you lately evaluated your life and what people think about you, have you been bold enough to ask your family and closest friends their thoughts of you, afterall they are most likely to give you an honest evaluation of your behaviour. Even Jesus in trying to Evaluate the effectiveness of His assignment asked His close pals His disciples “who do men say that I am” and when they are all done with different perspective of peoples thoughts of Jesus, then he followed on with another question “Who do you say that I am..”
2dy let’s evaluate our attitudes and determine the effectiveness of our assignment on earth. A negative impression can crash the direction of a multimillion dollar assignment. God has invested so much into you so get yourself on track and not off track with your attitude.
I pray the Lord gives you wisdom on the things you discover of yourself and an obedient heart to respond in love to them for a positive direction of your assignment IJN.

The Wrd 4 2dy is “Listen”
The wrd Listen is “The act of paying attention to a sound, or making an effort to hear something” i.e. b/4 something can have real significance in our lives, we need to pay attention to detail.
Many 2dy profess to know God, but truth need be said there are no signs in their lives to prove that they know Him or have a true relationship with Him. 
In any relationship that is working of which peace, joy and health is obvious one would find true communication at work. True communication is the process of not only speaking but knowing to listening.
2dy many ask questions how do I know when God is speaking & I often ask 1) do you pray to Him 2) How do you pray & 3) as there ever been a time in ur prayer when it’s not about you?. Many answer as follows 1) Yes I Pray 2) I pray for myself and family 3) well I pray for others & the community.
Friends the true act of prayer is not all about asking but also about coming to His presence & waiting on Him to speak. James 1: 19 encourages us to be swift at hearing and slow to speak. When we know to listen in our relationships, we would be amazed at what we would hear and surprised at what we have taken for granted and why things have been the way they are.
Let’s make our prayer 2dy be about waiting to hear & nothing more & I pray that heaven will open to us that which is long over due.

The Wrd 4 2dy is “Freely”
The word freely is defined as “Not under the control of another” or “without restriction or interference”
When God created man in the Garden, He instructed him that he could partake of everything in the Garden except of the tree of Knowledge, of which the day he does, he literarily would be signing his death warrant. We however knew what happened and the consequences of such an action.
Even though freedom is the absence of control, freedom is also the absence of abuse, freedom not controlled and restricted will definitely lead to abuse. We live in a world today where we are legislating for freedom of speech, expression, freedom to be and all the sorts, but all these freedom has brought is abuse, bondage and lack of peace.. 
2dy out of the quest for freedom (which mainly is restricting Godly interference) many have abandoned their duties to others and thus created a misery for them, husbands have walked out on wives and children and vice vera, society have abdicated it’s responsibilities of support thus dis-functioned communities.
Friends what we need is not freedom from God, but freedom in God. When we have God in our hearts then truly are we free. Rom. 8: 32 gives an account of God’s desire to freely give us all things. Let’s embrace God as we ought to and then we can experience His true freedom in our lives.
